EK1 Bench ECU Read Cable Add On
This special cable attaches to your EK1 system and is used when EK1 does not already have a reading of your original file. For example, if you're unable to find an original file on EK1s website for your ECU version you might want to use this cable to read out your ECU before flashing so you can later revert back to your factory version if ever needed. It's also required to write some 2024+ models that include the new "BlueLink" logic within their ECU.
